Why Norvic Guards Should Be Your First Call

When you’re planning an event, whether it’s a public festival, private function, corporate gathering, or large-scale show, security isn’t just another box to tick. It’s a critical part of your event’s success. That’s where Norvic Guards comes in.

We provide more than just bodies at the gate. We provide a team of trained professionals who know how to keep people safe, protect valuable assets, and help your event run smoothly from start to finish.

What Makes Norvic Guards Different?

There are plenty of companies offering security, but not all are created equal. At Norvic Guards, we’ve built our reputation on professionalism, preparation, and reliability.

SIA-licensed officers

All our guards are fully licensed and trained to the latest standards. We don’t cut corners, every officer we put on site reflects our commitment to quality.

Level 3 First Aid-trained staff

Emergencies don’t wait for paramedics. That’s why our team is trained to act fast in the critical first minutes of any medical situation, whether it’s a public event or private venue.

K9 security units

We offer Explosives Detection Dogs (EDD) and Drugs Detection Dogs for added safety at high-profile or high-risk events. Our K9 handlers are certified and ready to assist with large crowds, public spaces, or specialist requirements.

Clear, confident crowd management

From controlling access points to supporting flow through busy areas, our team understands how to keep your guests safe and your event running without unnecessary delays or disruption.

Prepared for Martyn’s Law

With new legal requirements for event and venue security on the way, we’re ready to help you meet compliance with the upcoming Protect Duty (Martyn’s Law) — ensuring your event is both safe and lawful.

Tailored Security for Every Event

No two events are the same and neither is our approach. We take time to understand the unique needs of your event, venue, and guests so we can provide the right level of security without being intrusive.

We regularly support:

Festivals and large public gatherings

Private parties and VIP functions

Stadium and sports events

Corporate launches and exhibitions

High-value asset protection (vehicles, equipment, or displays)

Whether you need a full team to manage every aspect of your event security or additional officers to support your existing team, Norvic Guards is ready to help.

Why Security Matters

Security done right isn’t just about preventing problems. It’s about creating an environment where your guests feel safe, your staff can focus on their jobs, and your event can shine.

That’s what we deliver — security that works, security that protects, security you can trust.

Build a brief around the whole event

An organiser’s first enquiry can set out the location, timings, expected attendance and the kind of experience being planned. Describe the venue’s existing arrangements and the parts of the operation where additional support is needed. This helps distinguish an enquiry for personnel from one that also requires specialist capability or further planning.

Consider the different stages of the occasion. Setup, public opening, peak activity, departure and teardown may involve different people and responsibilities. The brief should explain when those responsibilities change and who can authorise an adjustment. A team arriving for one stage needs enough context to understand the wider operation.

Make communication practical

Agree a main contact and a route for urgent issues before the event begins. Personnel should know how to describe locations and how to reach the appropriate supervisor. If several suppliers are involved, their communication arrangements should fit together. A list of telephone numbers is useful only when people understand who is responsible for which decision.

The same clarity helps visitors. Consistent directions, an approachable team and an understood process for requesting assistance make a venue easier to navigate. Security personnel should be able to explain the arrangements calmly while recognising when a matter needs help from an organiser, safeguarding lead or medical professional.

Learn from the occasion

A short review after the event can identify useful changes for next time. Discuss the quality of the briefing, the handling of updates and the handover at the end of the assignment. Record agreed actions rather than relying on memory.

Norvic’s event support is shaped around the agreed scope. Specialist resources, medical provision and legal responsibilities require their own consideration; the presence of security does not automatically resolve every part of event planning. Contact us early enough to discuss the requirement and establish a practical approach together.

An early conversation gives everyone more opportunity to clarify the brief, consider practical constraints and prepare for the occasion.
